(ANS – Lviv) – On Sunday 5 July Bishop Andriy Sapelak SDB former Bishop in Buenos Aires (Ukraine Rite), presided at a Byzantine Rite ceremony ordaining two Salesian from the “Mary Help of Christians” Delegation: Volodymyr Kobilinetsas a priest and Andriy Bodnar, as a deacon.
For the occasion in these days of celebration  the Salesian parish of the Blessed Virgin in Lviv, attached to the house of the  Delegation, welcomed several members of the Salesian Family, relatives of the two being ordained, many young people and friends of Don Bosco.

Speaking to the two young men Bishop Sapelak, referring to the Year of the Priest just started, mentioned the need to be closely conformed to Christ the Priest, and the extensive Salesian mission on behalf of the young throughout the Ukraine, especially that of the east which is  more in need of Salesian missionary activity in education and evangelisation.
