(ANS – Rome) – With the analysis of the situation in Slovakia the enquiry of  the Salesian iNfo Agency into European young people adds another piece to the jigsaw. This time too the assessment of the social context is accompanied by the presentation of some useful responses proposed by the Sons of Don Bosco.

In contrast to many other European countries, in Slovakia the young continue to form a very numerous group in society. However, to understand their needs and their problems and to offer them suggestions for their future development  becomes an even more important service.

In the analysis presented today together with the Service article – which provides a broader picture of the youth scene – various activities by the local Salesian Family to help young people are mentioned: through the media, the theatre and summer schemes.
