(ANS – Milan) – On the occasion of the VII World Family Meeting, arranged for May 30 – June 3 in Milan, the Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA), will be present with its own stand in the body of the Family Fair. It will be a window on good practice, new ideas and good work for the benefit of families.
The city of Milan is prepared to welcome about 1 million people from all countries to take part in the various activities on offer in the setting of the VII World Family Meeting, all looking forward to hearing the addresses from Pope Benedict XVI.
The International Family Fair is an integral part of the initiative and is intended to be an opportunity for seeing, meeting and sharing for the associations and foundations of the ecclesial and civil world, for corporations, concerns and all who work in the field of the family. It is a way of showing more clearly that the family is a fundamental value for society.
Mr. Tullio Luca, President of ADMA explains: “In the mind of Don Bosco, to be a family means to cultivate various aspects of the Salesian charism: the joy of living, care about prayer, union with God in daily life, service of others, especially the young and the poor, trust in God, the Father who provides and entrustment ot Mary, Mother and Teacher.”
Mr. Luca continued: “Through our contribution we want to present our experience of family which connects with the central place of the Word of God and the Sacraments; to care for the dynamics of conjugal harmony and of the upbringing of children; to fidelity to each one’s duties in family, work and Church. The fruits which we have experienced over so many years are the daily renewal of love between the spouses, the joy of a family who share the path of faith and education, the human and Christian growth of the children”
