(ANS – Rome: 21 February 2007)  - On 30 March religious orders are invited to join a day of prayer and fasting so that there might be a cessation of violence and war in Darfur, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Northern Uganda, Nepal, Colombia, Israel, Palestine and Lebanon and in all other places in the world where there are conflicts and division. The event is being promoted by the Justice and Peace Commission of the Union of Superiors General and the International Union of Female Superiors General (USG/UISG).
