Nogales, Mexico – February 2012 – Between 7 and 9 February at the Salesian house in Nogales there was the Annual Assembly of those in charge of the Oratories and Youth Centres in the Guadalajara Province (MEG). The agenda was linked to that of the meetings of the Provincial Commission for Oratories (CIO), one held last October and the next planned for June, so as to improve the way common projects are organised, setting out criteria for joint action , assessig the progress already made and planning for the future.

São Paulo, Brazil – 15 June 2013 – On 15 June, a formation meeting on Social Communications was held in the Salesian Province of São Paulo. Taking part were thirty collaborators in the area of Social Communications and marketing, from different social works, colleges, universities and parish pastoral teams. Salmiya, Kuwait – 24 May 2013 – On 24 May, Fr Blany Pinto, Rector of the Salesian Community in Kuwait, which belongs to the province of Bombay, received the promise of seven new Salesian Co-operators from the parish of St Therese of the Child Jesus. The first group of Salesian Co-operators in Kuwait was started in 2006. At present there are 50 co-operators and 17 aspirants.

Lares, Perù – 7 June 2013 –The young people from the Dominic Savio Salesian House at Lars in the province of Perù spent the first few days of June harvesting maize. The Salesian House has several plots of land where maize is cultivated, and the young people harvest it in the traditional Peruvian way, learnt from their families.
