Sarría, Venezuela – 6 April 2012 – Representatives of the youth groups and of Confirmation classes of the “Mary Help of Christians” parish of Sarría – Venezualian Province – presented a dramatized Way of the Cross on Good Friday. Many  parishioners attended the event, which took place in front of the National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians.

Salvador, Brazil – 6 June 2013 – On 6 June, the St Francis of Assisi Green Room was inaugurated at the Don Bosco Salesian College. It is a space devoted entirely to educating young people to the care of the environment. The inauguration ceremony was performed by the Rector of the College, Fr Raimundo Nonato, the coordinator of environmental education, Prof. Milton Nascimento, and the manager of the Department of Urban Ecology for a Sustainable City, João Resch Leal.
Turin, Italy– 3 June 2013 – on 3 June, at Colle Don Bosco, the Salesians signed an agreement with the World Handball Federation to promote the game of handball in Salesian missions. The Project will be called Don Bosco One Wall. It started from a meeting between Fr Egidio Dejana, Rector of the Basilica of St John Bosco and of the missionary museum, and Massimo Corsi, Delegate for the development of handball in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe, and also a member of the Council of the Italian ‘Pallapugno’ Federation. The aim is to spread the game of Handball (or One Wall) to all 132 countries in which the Salesians are present. The first wall has been built in India and others will be built soon in Poland, Congo and Italy (at Colle Don Bosco).
Kigali, Rwanda – 16 June 2013 – On 16 June, the Salesians of the St Charles Lwanga Vice-Province of Africa Great Lakes (AGL) celebrated their first ever Feast of Thanksgiving. The Superior, Fr Camiel Swertvagher, presided. The AGL Vice-Province was canonically erected on 24 June 2006.
São Paulo, Brazil – 15 June 2013 – On 15 June, a formation meeting on Social Communications was held in the Salesian Province of São Paulo. Taking part were thirty collaborators in the area of Social Communications and marketing, from different social works, colleges, universities and parish pastoral teams. The meeting, led by Katia Pizarro, an expert in the marketing sector, centred on Strategic Planning and Communication.
