| Krakow, Poland 3 June 2012 On 3 June at Jablonka (Orawa), near the Babia Góra mountain, organised by the “Miodzi wiatu” Salesian Missionary Voluntary Service in the Krakow Province (PLS), in collaboration with the local authorities of Jablonka and Lipnica Wielka, there was the eleventh “Orawa for Children in Africa”, on behalf of street children in Freetown (Sierra Leone). Those taking part, especially the children also celebrating “Childrens Day,” attended concerts, competitions, and sales of items from Africa and South America, eating African and local dishes, playing games and joining in lotteries. During the day the Volunteers spoke about their experiences and ran a "Rafiki" shop. |
