Ljubljana, Slovenia – 5 February 2017 - The eleventh meeting of the youth choirs of the Slovene parishes took place on the feast of Don Bosco, at the House of Ljubljana Rakovnik.   Fifty-seven choirs from all over the country participated in this biannual event, as well as a choir from the Salesian parish of Mužlja in Serbia. The combined choir made up of 1,000 young singers and led by its Director, Polona Stegu, was accompanied by a forty-five-piece orchestra. The sung parts of the Mass were composed by a Salesian, Fr Peter Pučnik. The arrangements for the sung repertoire were by Jaka Jerina. The Delegate for Youth Ministry, Fr Boštjan Jamnik, presided at the Eucharist in honour of Don Bosco.
