(ANS - Rome) - The Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, officially presented yesterday, December 27, at the General House of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA), the 2019 Strenna, whose title is: "Holiness for you, too", and which deepens the biblical text "So that my joy may be in you" (Jn 15,11).

During the presentation, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, illustrated what the goal of the Strenna 2019 shall be. "In choosing this topic and this title, I want to translate into our language the strong appeal to holiness that Pope Francis has addressed to the whole Church," added the Rector Major.

The Mother General, Sr. Yvonne Reungoat, then recalled that the choice of the theme of Holiness of this year's Strenna was taken unanimously among all the members of the Consulta of the Salesian Family.

The Strenna 2019 will be presented to the entire Salesian Family as part of the Salesian Family Spirituality Days, scheduled in Valdocco from 10 to 13 January, and focus on the theme of the Strenna 2019 "Holiness for you too" in the presence of 400 delegates belonging to the 31 groups of the Salesian Family of all the continents.
