Manaus, Brazil – June 12th, 2016 – On June 12th, in the quarter “Armando Mendes” of Manaus, there was the celebration of the Patron, St. Dominic Savio, with the Mass that was presided over by Fr. Nelson Pereira, in charge of the missionary area. Numerous faithful took part in the celebration: the four communities of the zone, and the youth of the Salesian Centre of Formation, who brought the relics of St. Dominic Savio, that since last May are being brought in pilgrimage in the Salesian community.
Venezuela - Mgr. José Ángel Divassón: "Mr. President: respect the Constitution and seek the truth"
(ANS - Caracas) - Last Sunday, because of the elections in Venezuela, Pope Francis prayed that this country will find "the road to peace and unity." Mgr. José Ángel Divassón, Salesian, apostolic vicar emeritus of Puerto Ayacucho, in an interview states that "he has lost the fear of speaking, because I speak the truth ... Because it is the voice of a people suffering from lack of food, medicines, basic necessities."
Young people are moving and what do we do?

Young people always move towards unprecedented possibilities, unsuspected futures. But beyond physical mobility and territorial displacement, young people show a great capacity for flux or change and mobilization in current societies, strengthened by new communication technologies, and networks.
Italy – Don Bosco's real city were the young: presentation of the book "The City of Don Bosco"
(ANS - Turin) - Yesterday, 23 May, the eve of the feast of Mary Help of Christians, the book "La Città di Don Bosco" was presented in Turin. Present for the occasion: the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, the archbishop of Turin, mgr. Cesare Nosiglia, Fr Enrico Stasi, Provincial of the Special Circumscription of Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta (ICP), together with civic authorities and members of the Salesian Family.

(ANS - Rome) - The blessed, and soon Saint, Pope Paul VI was full of benevolence towards the spiritual Sons of Don Bosco. This predilection, exhibited in many circumstances of his life and his pontificate, was also manifested in the devotion to Mary Help of Christians and in the attention to her anniversaries.
