(ANS - Turin) - The "Michele Rua" Salesian Oratory in Turin has been a haven in the field of study for international research on the theme of Youth and Religion. How does the transmission of faith, values, and religion take place within the same family and between the various generations? How is the context in which we live affected? These are some of the questions that prompted analysts and teachers to investigate at the Turin Salesian oratory.
Sondrio, Italy - October 2020 - On Sunday 11 October the new “Oratorio San Rocco” was inaugurated in Sondrio, after fifteen months of work to rebuild the structure. The project was made possible thanks to funding from the Cariplo Foundation and a fundraiser. Established more than 120 years ago, the oratory is managed by the Salesian community and is inserted in the educational-pastoral context of the parish of Sondrio. Mons. Oscar Cantoni, Bishop of Como, presided over the Eucharistic celebration in the courtyard of the Salesian Institute, at the end of which all the participants moved to Piazza San Rocco for the speeches of Fr Giuliano Giacomazzi, Superior of the Lombard-Emilian Province ( ILE), a representative of the Cariplo Foundation, and the archpriest, Fr Christian Bricola. After the ribbon-cutting, in the hall, Msgr. Cantoni said the blessing prayer and placed the crucifix on the walls, inviting participants to also look at the image of St. John Bosco, present in the structure.

Camps, oratories, meetings, rallies, retreats… could not take place. Yet, a group of boys and girls from the SYM of Rosario managed to generate closeness even in this period, through humor.
(ANS - Mumbai) - A group of children from a slum located near Mumbai, with the mobile phone of one of their parents, hunger in their bellies and enthusiasm in their hearts, reinvented Don Bosco's oratory at the time of Covid-19: 4 or 5 very young people gave birth to the “Don Bosco E-Oratory” of Navi Mumbai, an online oratory whose beneficiaries are scattered throughout various states of India. Every day there are about 250 children and young people who "attend", even thousands of kilometers away from each other.
(ANS - Prešov) - How do you set up a Center for Don Bosco Past Pupils in your own Oratory? Can we consider all those who have received a Salesian education in the Oratory or in a Youth Center "Past Pupils"? And what about the Past Pupils of a school environment? A local Slovak center for Don Bosco Past Pupils offers an answer to all these questions.
