(ANS - Vatican City) - On the evening of Thursday, 19 October 2023, at the end of the work of the 13th General Congregation of the XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops on Synodality, a special moment of prayer took place in St. Peter's Square, at the Angel Unawares sculpture. Presided over by Pope Francis, in the presence of the various participants in the Synod. It was dedicated to those who have lost their lives along the different migratory routes, their families, those who have survived, and all refugees and migrants who are still on their way. "It is necessary to redouble efforts to combat criminal networks, to indicate safer routes and to commit to expanding regular migration channels," said the Holy Father.

Also concelebrating the Mass was the newly appointed Cardinal Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, the Rector Major of the Salesians, who had been invited along with the other members of the College of Cardinals.
(ANS – Vatican City) – On the day that the Universal Church celebrates St Francis of Assisi, Pope Francis published "Laudate Deum" – an Apostolic Exhortation on the climate crisis – to expand and update his first encyclical on the subject, Laudato Si 'signed on 24 May 2015 and published on 18 June 2015.
"The essence of the synodal journey lies in a fundamental truth that we must never lose sight of: it aims to listen, understand and put into practice the will of God". With this post published yesterday on X by Pope Francis, we headed to the Synod on Synodality.

(ANS – Turin) – The final event of the "Labs to Learn" project was held on Tuesday, 5 March 2024, entitled "Labs To Future: The path – The results – The challenges" . The project was selected by the "Con i Bambini" social enterprise within the framework of the Foundation for the Fight against Child Educational Poverty and came into being with the intention of combating early school leaving and preventing educational poverty, increasing the number of young people with difficulties who fulfil their school obligation, access higher education and/or job placement, and opening the way for personal growth according to their inclinations and aspirations.
