(ANS - Rome) - Almost certainly a great number of readers have been receiving the monthly Salesian Bulletin (SB) for many years. (ANS - Venice) - On Sunday, April 16, 2023, more than 6,000 people of all ages - and more than 6,500 if we count the 330 volunteers and 230 performers and companions of the guest folk groups - participated in the traditional Solidarity Walk "Su e Zo per i Ponti di Venezia, up and down the bridges of Venice" moving through the lanes and across the squares of the lagoon city with a thought turned to the Salesian mission of Quebrada Honda, Peru, the focus of the 2023 Solidarity Project of Su e Zo per i Ponti.
(ANS - Madrid) - The European student mobility program "Erasmus+" allows students and teachers from Salesian secondary schools and Vocational Training Centers to get to know other cultures, improve their academic and language skills and, in the case of vocational training, experience a different workplace environment via hands-on work experiences in companies, according to the parameters of the dual system, in a foreign country. These learning experiences in Europe, supported by the Erasmus+ program, enable young people from Salesian schools to acquire personal and academic skills that, according to them, they would not have been able to acquire otherwise.
