NEWS
(ANS - Rome) - In January, which culminates with the feast day of Don Bosco, it is a tradition in all Salesian houses and throughout the Salesian Family to approach the celebration of the Father and Teacher of Youth through various paths of preparation: from the more traditional and spiritual ones, such as the Novena of Don Bosco, to the more creative ones, which involve young people in the most diverse playful or artistic activities, with tournaments and festivals of all kinds. ANS, the Salesian news agency, also intends to make its contribution to this global animation movement in honor of Don Bosco by publishing various in-depth articles about him in the coming days.
(ANS - Rome) - There is much excitement among the Salesian Family of Barakaldo, in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country in northern Spain, for the arrival this weekend of the Rector Major, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime. The reason for his visit is to pay homage - with Salesians, Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, young people and their families - to the charism of Don Bosco rooted in that city, which over the years has been articulated through three major works, all of which are celebrating significant anniversaries this year.
(ANS - Turin) - To facilitate the reading and presentation of the Rector Major's Strenna for 2023, "AS THE YEAST IN TODAY'S HUMAN FAMILY. The Lay Dimension of the Family of Don Bosco," and to highlight some of its essential nuclei, a presentation in 5 languages (Italian, English, Spanish, French and Portuguese) is now available to anyone interested. It was designed by a teacher from the Salesian Secondary School in Turin Valsalice, Prof. Elena Cristino, a member of the Salesian Family.
