On the Road to Sainthood. A Collection of Heroic Salesians

From the Don Bosco Publications “Pocketbook Series”, this little volume tells the stories of fifteen heroic Salesian figures who are currently on the path to sainthood.

This Pocketbook offers brief biographies of ten Salesians of Don Bosco, two Salesian Sisters and three Salesian Cooperators, whose holy and exemplary lives have placed them on the road to sainthood.

Along with well-known Salesian figures like Bl. Eusebia Palomino and Bl .Stephen Sandor, read the inspiring stories of the Servant of God, Matilde Salem, wife, mother and Salesian Cooperator who was born in Aleppo; and the Venerable Simon Srugi, a Salesian priest born in Nazareth and brought up in Bethlehem, who spent his life caring for the Christian and Muslim children of Palestine.
