Disciples of Jesus - with Don Bosco

The book by Fr Pietro Braido, SDB, and edited by Fr Francesco Casella, SDB, outlines a spiritual and pedagogical itinerary whose focal point is Don Bosco,  not the activity of  Don Bosco, but his being: the priest of the young and founder of institutes of consecrated men and women, apostles of youth.

The volume includes thirteen rich meditations, plus a Bibliography and General Index.

In the last meditation, Fr Braido asks: "Who is the Salesian of Don Bosco? How does one become a Salesian of Don Bosco and how does a Salesian of Don Bosco live?" He answers his question by going back to the  Sources by and about Don Bosco, masterfully illustrated with historical and narrative references, and proposing continuous and clear suggestions for everyone to discover, with Don Bosco, their being and way of acting.

Finally if the intent was to explain the life and work of the Piedmontese saint, the conclusion could not but recall the fidelity to Don Bosco in the life and work of the Salesians, the Salesian Family, of those in Church he inspired and all benevolent readers, friends of Don Bosco.
