(ANS - Turin) - With the Sunday Eucharistic celebration in the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians and the subsequent summary meeting in the Teatro Grande of Valdocco, the 36th edition of the Spirituality Days of the Salesian Family has come to an end. They have been four days of sharing, of open and serious efforts towards growing yet more in the service to young people around the world.

(ANS - Turin) - The Spirituality Days of the Salesian Family have become increasingly lively with the reflections of Saturday, January 20, aimed at exploring how "to accompany in Salesian." Participants met once again with friends new and old, and gathered around the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, who dedicated a moment to have a word for everyone.

(ANS - Turin) – Step two of these current Salesian Family Days of Spirituality: a morning wherein participants gathered once again in the theater of Valdocco. In the spirit of Don Bosco, the good morning was marked by prayer animated by the novices of Pinerolo. The first part of the day focused on two presentations: the testimonies of Sister Paola Casalis, FMA, and of a young married couple, followed by the celebration of the solemn Eucharist presided over by Monsignor Cesare Nosiglia, Archbishop of Turin.

(ANS - Turin) - The Spirituality Days of the Salesian Family began at 4.30 pm at the Teatro Grande di Valdocco in Turin. The Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, X Successor of Don Bosco, welcomed and greeted the over 400 participants from over 50 nations from all over the world.

(ANS - Turin) - Led by the Rector Major of the Salesians of Don Bosco, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, the Salesian Family is approaching the Synod on Youth in October with the 36th edition of the Spirituality Days of the Salesian Family, scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday 18 January, until Sunday 21.

(ANS - Rome) - The Governing Board of the Salesian Institutions of Higher Education (IUS) met at the Congregation's Central Office in Rome from 9 to 11 January, the aim to accompany the path of the IUS in each of the continents, follow up on the application of its common policies and programs, and strengthen the organizational and animation structures. The Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, spoke at the meeting, stating that "it is fundamental to have a strategic vision that adequately guides the processes of the Salesian institutions."

(ANS - Rome) - After the celebration of the First Seminar on promoting the causes of beatification and canonization of the Salesian Family, April 2016, with over 110 participants from all over the world, there were many requests to consolidate the path undertaken by organizing a new edition: it is, in fact, scheduled from Tuesday 10 April to Saturday 14 April, 2018, in Rome.

(ANS - Chieti) - Rector Major Fr Ángel Fernández Artime was the witness at the Youth Assembly of the Archdiocese of Chieti-Vasto, a meeting that took place on Friday, 5 January, at the Pastoral Center of Fossacesia (Chieti). The circumstances that gave rise to the invitation to the Rector Major were born last November when the local archbishop, Msgr Bruno Forte - chosen by Pope Francis as Special Secretary of the two Synods of Bishops dedicated to the theme of family – was in Madrid to participate in the International Salesian Youth Ministry and Family Congress: SYMFAMILY17. 

(ANS - Rome) – In what was a festive environment, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major of the Salesians, officially presented 2018 Strenna on 27 December at the General House of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA); its title: "LET US CULTIVATE THE ART OF LISTENING AND ACCOMPANIMENT", with, additionally, a reflection on the biblical text, "Lord, give me this water" (John, 4:15). The event started with the presentation of the video, which is a summary of the Strenna.

(ANS – Mumbai) – Don Bosco, Matunga is an institution that imbibes the spirit of sharing and giving, two virtues that form the crux of the Christmas season as well. On December 15 and 16, hundreds of students and staff from the institution organised the Christmas Panorama, a the blue riband event aimed at ushering in the Christmas spirit at the Matunga campus.
