(ANS – Bruxelles) – On 18-19 June 2019, on behalf of Don Bosco International and Don Bosco Network, Wojciech Mroczek, DBN Coordinator, attended European Development Days (EDD) organized by the European Commission in Brussels. The main theme of the event was: “Addressing inequalities: Building a world which leaves no one behind”.

(ANS – Amatitán) – Around 80 participants of PDO’s and TVETS from close to 20 provinces from all over Latin America met from the 2nd-7th of June 2019 in Amatitán, Jalisco, Mexico for a capacity building workshop. DBGA was also present to discuss with the different parties the importance of the integration of green aspects in projects for a sustainable development. A map of already existing activities for a green change in the region was elaborated and inputs from DBGA for a future implementation of green projects were given. The exchange was very valuable and a clear message from the region towards the integration of ecological aspects in their development was made.

(ANS - Cochabamba) - "We are members of one another (Eph 4:25). From social network communities to the human community" was the theme proposed by Pope Francis for the 2019 World Communications Day, and in Bolivia the Provincial Delegate for Social Communications and his support team had the task of spreading this message in Bolivia's 'Our Lady of Copacabana' Province.

(ANS - Granada) – From 1 to 4 June, the home of the post-novitiate in Granada hosted the meeting of the National Centers of Youth Ministry of Spain and Italy, and the Delegates from Portugal and the Middle East Province.

(ANS – Darjeeling) – An inter-faith group in Darjeeling has shown the way to harmonious and peaceful living among members of all religious beliefs amid news of rising incidents of intolerance and religious bigotry in the society.

(ANS - Lisbon) - The mission shared with laity is one of the three fundamental challenges on which the Congregation is called to reflect upon at the next General Chapter. As are social networks, today an indispensable field of mission, as well as a resource "to promote an encounter with others ... to preserve and safeguard a communion of free people" (See message for the LIII World Day of Women Social Communications). On May 20, for this reason, the Salesians of Portugal gave birth to a formation event for their employees on the management and animation of social networks, communication strategies and data protection.

(ANS - Santa Fe) - It was 1931, almost on the borders of the Municipality of Santa Fe, and there was a priestly and Salesian spirit who would worry until he fell asleep, concerned that not a corner of Argentina be without the charitable work of St. John Bosco. Fr Domenico Sorasio who, as Director of the San José Institute of Rosario, in 1931, managed to obtain the approval of the local bishop, Msgr. Juan A. Boneo, so that in Santa Fe there be a Salesian house.

(ANS – Smorgon) – From 24 to 26 May, the Don Bosco Youth Fest took place in the parish of St. Michael’s Smorgon - youth days in the Salesian style. More than 120 participants of the festival began arriving to Smorgon on Friday evening. At the door of the oratory they were met by organizers and registered, some photos taken. Formally, the Don Bosco Youth Fest started with the Holy Mass led by Alexander Yashevsky, SDB, secondary Bishop of Minsk-Mogilev archdiocese, with a special service for the city of Mogilev and Mogilev region.

(ANS - Ayagualo) – In progress, a meeting of the school teams of the Salesian Family from the CIMAC-NAC-MESOAMERICA area is underway in the "Sagrado Corazón de Jesús" house in Ayagualo, El Salvador.
