(ANS - Guatemala City) - Fr Ivo Coelho, General Councilor for Formation, visited the formation houses of the Central American Province (CAM) in the past few weeks. On the occasion, he gave an interview to the local Salesian Bulletin, in which he spoke not only of his views on the reality of Salesian formation in the CAM Province, but also on topics of general interest, such as the formation of formators, the challenges of initial formation today, the importance of forming the young salesians in communication, and the beauty of the Salesian vocation.

(ANS - Turin) - Fr Domenico Ricca, a Salesian, is chaplain of the "Ferrante Aporti" Penal Institute for minors in Turin. He has held numerous national and regional positions in favor of the most vulnerable children. He is President of the "Amici di Don Bosco" (Friends of Don Bosco) association and Ecclesiastical Councilor of the ACLI of the Province of Turin. (ANS - Lahore) - The Salesian Fr Gabriel Cruz is the Provincial Delegate of Pakistan, a Delegation that belongs to the Southern Philippine Province (FIS). The Salesian house was founded in 1999, but was erected as a Delegation only in 2015. There are two houses: one on the border with Afghanistan, in the city of Quetta, and another on the border with India, in the city of Lahore. Fr Cruz tells ANS about his experience in Pakistan, about his contact with a cheerful culture and with many young people who appreciate the commitment of the Salesian missionaries.
