INTERVIEWS

(ANS - Rome) - "Europe is a land of contrasts. You notice this immediately when you meet young people from different countries. In this region alone the Salesians speak 27 different languages! But, speaking of language, we should not forget that the most important language is that of the heart." Today we publish the second and final part of the interview with Fr Tadeusz Rozmus, Councillor for the Central and Northern European region.

(ANS – Rome) – Region Centre and North Europe is one of the 7 regions of the Salesian Congregation and, considering its historical and cultural situation, also one of the most complex. Fr. Tadeusz Rozmus, Councillor of the Region, presents it in the following interview.

(ANS – Paris) – John Paul Swaminathan is a young Salesian missionary in France, who pursues masters in film direction and producing movies for European televisions at the “EICAR” (École Internationale de Création Audiovisuelle et de Réalisation), the International Film School of Paris. His short film project “ALIVE: Death Does Not Stop Life” received three main awards last December: the Albert R. Broccoli Award, the Best Student Short Film and the Best Sound Awards, at the film fest organized by EICAR, in collaboration with “La Cinématheque Française” and the Ministry of Culture and Development in France.

(ANS – Thornleigh) - When Fr. Blamoh Harris, the first Liberian SDB, paid a visit to Thornleigh Salesian House last week, it was an opportunity for those who had served in Liberia to recall their time there together, and also for Salesian Link to talk to Fr. Blamoh about his experience.
