(ANS – Turin) – Don Bosco did not leave the cult of Mary Help of Christians to spontaneous devotion alone. He founded an Association that took its name from her, the ADMA. It is one of the initiatives most dear to Don Bosco. What is its current face? We talk about it with the President, Renato Valera.

(ANS - Port-au-Prince) - Four young people from different countries brought the testimonies of the eight saints and blessed patrons of WYD in Panama 2019 to Pope Francis. It was last January 24 and the honor of presenting the "Father and Master of Youth", St. Giovanni Bosco, fell to a young man from Haiti, Jackson François.

Peru – Fr Diego Clavijo: "It is necessary to reach the essence of the indigenous soul and revitalize the life of the people with the values of the Gospel"

(ANS - Yurimaguas) - The search for new ways for the Church - one of the objectives of the Synod for the Pan-Amazon region - must lead to entering and immersing oneself into the experiences of the Church in the region. Fr Luis (Luigi) Bolla tried to build a ministerial Church, an incarnation of the Gospel among the Achuar natives of Peru and Ecuador. After his death, another spiritual Son of Don Bosco, Fr Diego Clavijo, is giving continuity to that work. Born in Ecuador, the Salesian has been a missionary in Peru for 18 years and is among those who started the Salesian presence in the Peruvian Amazon, in 2001, together with Fr Bolla.

(ANS - Turin) – From 18 to 26 March, as part of the Extraordinary Visitation conducted in the Italy-Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta district, Fr Ivo Coelho, General Councilor for Formation, stayed at the “Crocetta” Salesian formation community of Turin which, with its 27 permanent religious and 49 students of Theology, is currently Europe's most numerous.
