Chofu, Japan - July 2018 - On July 14, the 14th Salesian Provincial of the Japan Province was sworn into office during a ceremony; his name: Fr Jacob Hideaki Hamaguchi (photo, right). The new Provincial presided over Eucharistic Adoration and evening prayer, and was attended by 70 Salesians and members of the Salesian Family, in the presence of Fr Mario Yamanouchi, former Provincial of Japan (photo, left), elected bishop of Saitama.
