Mbare, Rwanda - August 2018 - The II Congress of the Volunteers of Don Bosco (VDB) of the African continent and their spiritual assistants takes place from 5 to 9 August. There are 38 Volunteers from 10 countries, two Central Councilors, the central assistant, Fr Joan Lluis Playa, and the World leader of the Volunteers With Don Bosco (CDB). The theme of the conference is the "Secular Mission of the VDB in Africa and Madagascar". Among the numerous topics being discussed in-depth are human rights, the status of women, young people, and popular beliefs.
