Brussels, Belgium - 25 September 2019 - Fr Tarcizio Morais, SDB, coordinator of the School and Vocational Training Office in the Salesian Youth Ministry Department, and Renato Cursi, Executive Secretary of Don Bosco International (DBI), met with Fr Manuel Barrios Prieto, new Secretary of the Commission of Episcopal Conferences of the Member States of the European Union (COMECE) in Brussels. The meeting confirmed the synergy for the promotion of the integral development of young people within the policies of the European Union. The Salesian Youth Ministry in general, and DBI in particular, collaborate with COMECE in many fields: social inclusion of young people, reception and integration of migrants and refugees, vocational training of young people, European cooperation for development, goals for sustainable development and integral ecology.
