18 November 2019

Turin, Italy - November 2019 - On 10 November, the SYM Day took place in Valdocco, a day of recreation, sharing and joy that brought together 450 young people from various Salesian centers and diocese. The day featured the testimony of two young animators from the Salesian oratory in Aleppo, Syria, with whom the twinning with the Middle East and with the houses of Aleppo and Kafroun was officially inaugurated, as a concrete gesture of help, service, and mutual prayer. The two young people spoke of how animation, then the Salesian experience, gave a profound meaning to their lives, especially during the war, and they affirmed that play and fraternity are the first step to building a relationship of peace.
