Caracas, Venezuela - November 2019 - The Vicar of the Rector Major, Fr Francesco Cereda, visited the Province of Venezuela (VEN) to accompany the Salesians in their consultation for the election of the new Provincial. On November 18, Fr Cereda shared a moment of prayer and fraternal experience with the staff of the Provincial House, emphasizing to those present: "You do not work for the Salesians, you work for the mission of Don Bosco." In the afternoon, he moved to the headquarters of the Theologate, where he met the young people of the Salesian houses of formation. On November 19, the first day of the consultation, the Vicar of the Rector Major visited the Salesian Agronomic Technical School in Barinas, and after greeting the students he met the communities of Táriba, Valera and Barinas; on November 20, at the "Don Bosco" house in Valencia, he met the Salesian communities of Molinete, Punto Fijo and Valencia.
