São Paulo, Brazil - April 2023 - At the Center of Salesian Youth Spirituality (CEJUS) in São Paulo, 50 young people, aged between 17 and 25, belonging to the Salesian and Daughters of Mary Help of Christians Provinces of São Paulo, participated in the "Youth Easter." The young people took part in the Easter Triduum celebrations and moments of formation led by Sister Maria, FMA, and Fr. Rafael Galvão, SDB. The youth delved into the biblical, liturgical and theological moments of the Paschal mystery. "Youth Easter is, for all of us, an experience of deepening our faith. It represents the vibrancy of the Church. Christ lives! He comes with us to school, church and office. He lives in each person who manifests his gesture of love," said Salesian Br. Gabriel Mariano, recalling his speech at the event. According to Wilbertty Silva, SDB, the highlight of the event was the traditional "procession of the Dead Christ" on Good Friday, when he saw people in the streets get up and moved as the procession passed by. This year's Salesian Youth Easter also welcomed some members of the Youth Ministry of the Salesian Province of Mexico-Guadalajara (MEG). MEG representatives - Margargarita Aguilar, Alejandra Peregrina, Ricardo Lara and Mario Montes - highlighted the experience of faith and witness that took place during the weekend. "We are happy and recognize that the Salesian mission has no boundaries. The language is difficult to understand, but we are united by the heart of Don Bosco and the Salesian charism," they commented.

Los Teques, Venezuela - April 2023 - At the "Villa Don Bosco" house in Los Teques, 34 young people from various points of the country, eager to discern the Lord's call for their lives and with the desire to respond to it with joy and serenity, participated in the First Vocational Discernment Meeting 2023. The appointment was accompanied by the Provincial Commissions of Vocational Animation and Mission Animation, and is one of the proposals of the Salesian Youth Ministry of Venezuela (VEN). The event is part of a series of initiatives aimed at providing young people who participate with spaces for encounter with Christ and tools for Christian vocational discernment from a Salesian perspective.

Spain - April 2023 - Under the mottos "We walk with you" and "The Walk leads to Love," some 2,000 young people from Salesian works in Spain lived the days of Holy Week through moments of encounter, reflection and celebration intensely. The Easter meetings were developed, as on previous occasions, on three levels, depending on the age of the participants. In addition, specific meetings were organized for families in Mohernando (Guadalajara) and Somalo (La Rioja), and there was, finally, the opportunity to experience Easter on the Camino de Santiago. "We prayed together, celebrated the meetings in the different houses and youth centers of reference, and became aware that it is Jesus Christ the Lord who holds us together and accompanies us in our lives, through the experience of the resurrection," some young people shared on the journey back to their homes. María Méndez, who participated in the meeting held in Mohernando, said, "I am convinced that the concrete experience of community that takes place during these days - the being all at the service of all, building Easter moments together - makes us mature in our faith and return to our Galilee resurrected and with a great desire to proclaim Him." Together with the young people, several hundred animators and Salesians accompanied the participants during these days, organizing moments of prayer, group and personal reflection and the Easter Triduum celebrations. Also, young couples with their children participated in Easter meetings specifically for families.
