Bogotá, Colombia - July 2022 - On July 30, the inauguration of the Provincial House of the "Saint Peter Claver" Province of Bogotá (COB) took place. The day began with the Eucharist presided by Fr. Jhon Jairo Gómez, COB Provincial, and continued with the blessing of the new premises. Present at the event were Msgr. Héctor Julio López, SDB, Bishop Emeritus of Girardot, Fr. Luis Fernando Valencia, Provincial of Medellín (COM), various Salesians and members of the Salesian Family. From the origins of the Salesian presence in Colombia, the provincial headquarters has always operated at the Salesian institute "León XXXIII," until Sept. 3, 1969, when it was moved to the "Soledad" neighborhood. Now, after many years it returns to its place of origin, to coordinate the animation of the Salesian mission in Colombia.

Córdoba, Argentina - July 2022 - On July 29, Salesian coadjutors Bros. Máximo Herrera and José Sobrero shared a fraternal moment at the São Paulo Integral Center for Palliative Care and Rehabilitation, directed by Drs. Hernán Carranza and Sandra Ahumada. On this occasion, they offered a painting by Artemide Zatti that was placed in the nursing area, imploring the intercession of the Holy Coadjutor for all the people who live and work in the hospital. The St. Paul Clinic, conceived and designed so that patients can feel at home, arises as an effective tool and alternative for research, diagnosis and treatment of patients with oncohematological diseases who need palliative care and rehabilitation. The act performed in the Cordoba clinic was a good opportunity to spread the figure of Artemide Zatti in view of his upcoming canonization.

Anisakan, Myanmar - July 2022 - The Salesian Vice-Province of Myanmar (MYM) was blessed with another diaconal ordination: that of Salesian Henry Go Lam Thang. The Eucharistic celebration of ordination was held on Friday, July 29, at the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians of the Apostolic School "Nazareth" and was presided over by the Archbishop of Mandalay, Msgr. Marco Tin Win, and concelebrated by Fr. Bosco Zaya Aung, Superior of the MYM Vice-Province.
