Upon their arrival, they were welcomed in the Provincial House by the Salesians representing Salesian communities in the country. During the extended "Salesian goodnight," which included a question-and-answer session, Fr. Maravilla emphasized "the need for a Congregational rethinking of 'missions' in light of ecclesiological development." "Today, 'missions' can no longer be thought of only in geographical terms as in the past. Missions are found in any context where there is a need to proclaim Jesus Christ," he pointed out.

Beside the election of the new World Councillor for the East Asia-Oceania Region, each province will report on the life, vocation, formation and mission of their members.

(ANS - Krakow) - While May 1, International Labor Day, is often associated in Poland with moments of leisure and relaxation, for the young students of the Interprovincial Theological Studentate in Krakow, it was no time to rest. They spent the weekend between the end of April and May 1 engaging on various fronts and animating various youth activities.

(ANS - Rome) - The three meetings of those in charge of Provincial Oratories-Youth Centers, organized by the Sector of Youth Ministry in May, have concluded. The purpose of these meetings, with more than 50 people from all the Regions, was to present the methodology followed to renew the text of the Reference Framework for Youth Ministry, regarding Oratory-Youth Center. The process began in November 2022. In July, this large group of Salesians and lay people will be asked for their final input, after receiving an initial synthesis from the Provinces.
