(ANS – Melbourne) – After more than a week of festive events and intense celebrations, the Rector Major's Animation Visit to the Australia-Pacific "Mary Help of Christians" Province came to an end. The Rector Major paid tribute to the Centenary of Salesian presence in Australia and revitalized the local Salesian Family.
(ANS – Rome) - The Institute of Salesian History (ISS), Rome, organized the presentation of the book by Prof. Thomas Anchukandam sdb, titled, «Theological Formation of Salesians in India with Special Reference to Kristu Jyoti College, Bangalore (1967-1976)» (LAS, 2022) in the Sala Juan Vecchi, Pontifical Salesian University (UPS), Rome, at 3 p.m. on 21 April 2023.
(ANS - Rome) - The Rector Major, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, begins his visit to the Canary Islands on May 2. It is an institutional visit - as part of the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of the Salesians in La Orotava and the centenary of the Salesians in Las Palmas - that will allow the Congregation's Superior General to get a closer look at Salesian work in the islands of Tenerife and Gran Canaria.
(ANS - Krakow) - Young, a music lover, eager to educate and evangelize other young people in the style of Don Bosco: this is, in a nutshell, the identikit of Norbert Rosiński, stage name "None Rhyme," a Salesian Theology student at the Salesian Theological Studentate in Krakow and also an author and singer of rap and reggae music. Norbert, almost 29 years old, has already recorded an album of songs and has now just finished producing a new song, in collaboration with a well-known Polish artist, Muniek Staszczyk.
