(ANS - Madrid) - The Feast of the Epiphany is deeply felt throughout Spain, also due to the popular tradition which sees the Three Kings bring gifts not only to the Child Jesus, but also to all the children of every town and city in the nation. For years now, Salesian houses have also been participating in the various activities promoted on 6 January throughout the country with historical re-enactments, festive initiatives and above all many charitable initiatives to bring some gifts and a moment of joy even to the children most at risk.

(ANS - Rome) - "The Magi who came from the East are only the first of a long procession of men and women who in their lives have constantly sought with their eyes the star of God, who have sought that God who to us, human beings, is near and shows us the way. It is the great host of saints - known or unknown - through whom the Lord, throughout history, has opened before us the Gospel and turned its pages; this, He is still doing. In their lives, as in a great picture book, the richness of the Gospel is revealed. They are the luminous wake of God that He Himself throughout history has traced and still traces." These words of Benedict XVI, spoken in Cologne on August 20, 2005, on the occasion of the 20th World Youth Day, remind us that saints are those who are so captivated by the beauty of God and His perfect truth that they are progressively transformed by it.

(ANS - Rome) - "The profound communion that exists among all Groups and with all continents and that nourishes our common spirituality in the service of the mission."
