(ANS - Madrid) - Members of the Rome Youth Ministry Sector team, led by General Councilor Fr. Miguel Ángel García Morcuende, gathered in Madrid on Nov. 16 and 17. The meeting was part of the process of seeking synergies that the Youth Ministry (YM) Sector has undertaken with the Congregation's National YM Centers. In this case, the point of reference was the Salesian National YM Center in Madrid (CNSPJ, in Spanish), one of the important centers for reflection and coordination of youth ministry in Europe, serving Salesian Spain and the Congregation itself. Thus, the meeting was also attended by members of the CNSPJ Coordination with its director, Fr. José Miguel Núñez.

(ANS – Vaduthala) – The sixth Biennial National Educational Conference of Don Bosco Schools (NECDBS) was held at Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Vaduthala, from 16-19 November 2022. The educational conference was aimed at promoting quality education, exploring modern horizons in pedagogical methods, and refocusing the school education system on the preventive system proposed by St. John Bosco.

(ANS – San Francisco) – After the many trips and appointments of the first days, Rector Major Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime had a lighter schedule on the fifth day of his visit to the United States West (SUO); he spent Saturday, Nov. 19, entirely in the San Francisco Bay Area. Always important and significant were the day's events, chief among which was the celebration of the Mass of Thanksgiving for the 125th anniversary of Salesian presence in the country.

(ANS – Berkeley) – Intense, with meetings and appointments, the visit of the Rector Major, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, to the "St. Andrew" Province of the Western United States (SUO) continues. On Friday, November 18, the 10th Successor of Don Bosco visited the community of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians at Bellflower, before beginning the second part of his visit to Northern California, with stops in Berkeley and Richmond.

(ANS - Pamplona) - The Salesian-driven project for the construction of incubators - "Cunas que salvan vidas" (Incubators that save lives) - which just a few days ago won the first prize of the "Learning-Service 2022," in the "Development Cooperation" section, is a clear example of a successful result of collaboration between schools, organizations, and businesses.

(ANS - Lahore) - Pakistan is still counting the victims and damage from the monsoon rains that killed more than 1,500 people in late August, leaving at least half a million Pakistanis homeless and one-third of the country underwater - lakes hundreds of kilometers long and dozens wide formed. More than 1 million homes and about 3,000 kilometers of roads were damaged or destroyed. More than 1 million animals killed, crops wiped out. The government said a total of more than 33 million people were affected and quantified the damage as at least $10 billion.
