(ANS - Meruri) - The Salesian University "UniSALESIANO," belonging to the Province of Brazil-Campo Grande (BCG), has developed its first center or hub for distance education (EaD), built in the village of Meruri, more than 900 km from the university's nearest campus, that of Araçatuba. This new hub, built for the UniSALESIAN Pedagogy course, is part of a larger education extension project promoted by the Salesian mission in the indigenous communities of Meruri and São Marcos, in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso, and will benefit the education of 46 indigenous Boe-Bororo people living in Meruri.

(ANS - Buenos Aires) – Argentina’s Secretariat of Worship, a body dependent on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, has declared "the canonization of Blessed Artemide Zatti that will take place on October 9, 2022, in Vatican City," as an event of its interest. This official document is an extremely important recognition by the Argentine state of the celebration of Zatti's canonization.

Ángel Fernández Artime, invites the entire Congregation, the entire Salesian Family, and all those who in various ways love and support Don Bosco's mission, to follow and actively participate in the great event of the canonization of Artemide Zatti, scheduled for Sunday, October 9 on the parvis of St. Peter's Basilica, in the Vatican.

(ANS - Rome) - On the occasion of the canonization of Blessed Artemide Zatti, Salesian coadjutor, (Boretto 1880 - Viedma 1951) an exhibition, consisting of 17 panels, was designed and produced, entitled: Artemide Zatti. Paradise for a Bicycle. The exhibition is on display at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Rome and will be open from Oct. 1 to 16.

(ANS - Sondrio) - The Salesian presence in the city of Sondrio celebrates in this 2022 its 125 years of activity in favor of young people. The first Spiritual Sons of Don Bosco arrived in the city, the main center of Valtellina, precisely in September 1897, and last Sunday, September 25, in the collegiate church of Saints Gervasius and Protasius, the current Salesian community celebrated the anniversary, together with a large crowd of Don Bosco's faithful and friends, with a Mass presided over by the Bishop of Como, Cardinal Oscar Cantoni , and also concelebrated by the Italy-Lombardo Emiliana (ILE) Provincial, Fr. Giuliano Giacomazzi. For the occasion, remembrance was made of some eminent Salesians originally from Valtellina: the venerable Fr. Giuseppe Quadrio, the Servant of God Fr. Carlo Braga, Fr. Ugo De Censi, Fr. Luigi Melesi and others.
