(ANS - America) - Twenty-seven artistic works, from 14 Provinces and spotlighting the talents of young people - in theater, dance, song, music, and circus - were the focus of the Salesian Social Works Artistic Festival, entitled "Youth, Art and Social Transformation."

(ANS - Turin) - On Sunday, Sept. 25, the Missionary Cross will be handed over to the Salesians of the 153rd Salesian Missionary Expedition at the hands of the Rector Major, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, and to the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians of the 145th Missionary Expedition, at the hands of Sister Ruth del Pilar Mora, FMA Missions Councilor.

(ANS - San Marino) - To work in synergy on issues such as youth distress, school orientation, research and job placement, on Friday, September 16, a Framework Agreement was signed between the University of the Republic of San Marino, in the person of Pro-rector Prof. Luigi Guerra for the Rector Magnificus Corrado Petrocelli, and the Salesian Pontifical University, in the person of Rector Magnificus Prof. Fr. Andrea Bozzolo. Also present at the signing was Secretary of State for Education and Culture of the Republic of San Marino Andrea Belluzzi.

(ANS) - On Sept. 15, a meeting of the heads of the Vocational Training Centers (VTCs) of the Salesian network of America was held digitally. The meeting was attended by more than 20 representatives from provinces of the continent, who reflected on the strategic plan they are developing and aspects of the network's vision and mission.

(ANS - Castelnuovo Don Bosco) - An experience above expectations, capable of opening new horizons, to be kept as a gift from the Lord: enthusiastic are the comments of the participants in the second edition of the Salesian School of Spiritual Accompaniment for Italian-, Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking Salesians, carried out on the Salesian Places, between Valdocco and Castelnuovo Don Bosco, from August 17 to September 19. A total of 22 Salesians from 17 Provinces participated in this edition.

(ANS - Rome) - The second day of the "SDB Change Congress," yesterday, Tuesday, Sept. 20, was an intense day of interventions and appointments, which began with the greeting of Card. João Braz de Aviz, prefect of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life. In his address, the cardinal also reviewed the Church's magisterium in relation to the tasks and roles of the religious administrator/economer, which he then summarized in three phrases: finalizing every resource to the mission; accounting for choices, acts and results; and ensuring that assets are also protected civilly and that canonical and civil norms are respected.
