(ANS - La Paz) - The Senate of the Plurinational State of Bolivia has paid "a just and well-deserved tribute" to the Salesian University of Bolivia (USB) in recognition of its "priceless contribution" to the higher education of the country's youth and people, achieved through the training of qualified professionals who have contributed and continue to contribute to the development of the Department of La Paz and the entire State.

(ANS – Cape Town) – The Salesian Institute Youth Projects (SIYP) is a non-profit organisation, dedicated to improving the lives of South Africa's vulnerable children and youth at risk. It has been providing education, emotional support, and skills development training for at-risk young people in Cape Town since 1910. Today, July 15, marks World Youth Skills Day, established in 2014 by the United Nations General Assembly and we want to present this successful model of Salesian activity for youth.

(ANS – New Rochelle) – The Salesians are regarded as the single largest provider of vocational and technical training in the world. They offer more than 1,000 vocational, technical, professional, and agricultural schools around the globe. This training provides youth with the practical skills to prepare for employment and helps them lead productive lives while becoming contributing adults in their communities. These programs go beyond educating. They also assist youth with making connections within industries and preparing them for the process of searching, finding and retaining employment. On World Youth Skills Day 2022, celebrated year on July 15 since 2014, let’s look at the Salesian life-changing training for poor youth.

(ANS – Tetere) – The Salesian Parish “Christ the King” in Tetere celebrated the launching of the Salesian Youth Movement together with the 44th Feast of National Independence with a thanksgiving Eucharistic celebration presided over by Bishop Luciano Capelli, SDB, Bishop of the diocese of Gizo. People from different catholic communities came together in reverence for God and their country and showcased their various cultural processional dances which added to the richness of the celebrations on 7th July 2022.

(ANS - Lisbon) - Working to prepare Salesian participation in World Youth Day (WYD) Lisbon 2023, the coordination team of "WYD DON BOSCO 23" met at the Salesian Provincial House in Lisbon with a representation of Salesians from Poland. The meeting served to prepare for the participation of some 400 young Poles in the huge Catholic youth event scheduled for Aug. 1-6, 2023 in Portugal's capital.
