(ANS – Pessinetto) – On Friday, 9 April 2022, the participants and facilitators at the School of Salesian Spiritual Accompaniment (SSA), currently in progress in Turin, visited the Sanctuary of Sant’Ignazio sopra Lanzo.

(ANS - Rome) - The Easter greetings that the Rector Major Fr Ángel Fernández Artime usually sends, this year, in addition to the content wishing everyone Peace, Joy and Hope in the Risen Christ, are characterized by having been printed by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato of Rome, the Italian State Mint and Polygraphic Institute. It is a collector's commemorative stamp, printed in a limited edition of one thousand copies, depicting the exterior of the Casa Don Bosco House Museum in Valdocco (Turin) in silk-screen printing and five cinderella stamps depicting "special" pieces from the same museum.

(ANS – Rome) – The word “cuisine” is commonly defined as a style or method of cooking that is characteristic of a particular country, region, or group. It is a style of cooking or food preparation using distinctive ingredients and techniques associated with the traditions and customs to create dishes unique to a specific culture or a particular geographic region. Traditional cuisine reflects a people’s unique history, lifestyle, values, and beliefs. It is passed down from one generation to the next as an expression of cultural identity.

(ANS – Vyšné Nemecké) – The World President of Past Pupils of Don Bosco, Mr. Bryan Magro, visited Slovakia to show the gratitude of the World Confederation for the service being offered by Slovakian past pupils who are actively involved in offering help and support to Ukrainian Refugees. The programme of the visit was organised by the Slovakian National Federation of Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco and the National Slovakian President Mr. Robert Mruk accompanied the World President in his visits to Salesian Houses and past pupils. 

(ANS - Warsaw) - "The desire to help comes from the heart. We have seen the images of these people, of the refugees, and we can do nothing but pray and help." Christoph, a German professor who came to Poland with other colleagues and compatriots to bring medicine and relief to Ukrainian refugees, expresses very well the spirit that animates the many volunteers who for many weeks have been helping the Salesians in their humanitarian work towards the citizens fleeing from the war in Ukraine.

(ANS - Rome) - It is a message full of joy, satisfaction, and above all gratitude that the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, addresses via video to his Salesian confreres, to the members of the Salesian Family, and all the young people of the world following the announcement of the recognition of the miracle attributed to the intercession of the Blessed Salesian Artemide Zatti. This announcement, in fact, offers new stimuli with which to live this Holy Week and the imminent Easter, and renews energy and enthusiasm, because "it means that the path to his canonization is now open and close at hand."
