Spain - May 2023 - With his participation in the Assembly of Salesian Cooperators of the Province of Mary Help of Christians, held on May 7 at the Diocesan House of Spirituality "San Manuel González" in Malaga, the Rector Major, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, concluded his visit to Spain. Begun last May 2, this institutional visit brought the 10th Successor of Don Bosco to the Canary Islands as part of the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of the Salesians in La Orotava and the centenary of the Salesians in Las Palmas. They were especially intense days, during which the Rector Major was able to get a closer look at the Salesian work in the islands of Tenerife and Gran Canaria. During his trip, he also had the opportunity to meet Salesians, members of the Salesian Family, educators, many young people, and ecclesiastical and civil authorities. On the last day of the visit, the Rector Major then greeted the young people of the "Francisco Míguez" youth center in Malaga, dedicating to them one of Don Bosco's most emblematic phrases: You are all thieves...you have stolen my heart.

Australia - April 2023 - The Visit that the Rector Major, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, made to the Province of Australia-Pacific has just concluded. Lasting a total of eight days, the visit allowed the 10th Successor of Don Bosco to meet with Salesians, talk with young people, and learn about local Salesian works, as well as to share the joy of the centenary of Salesian presence in the country with Salesians and the local Salesian Family. There were many events in which the Rector Major took part: from Sydney, where the Visit began, with stops at Salesian works in Engadine and the community of Brunswick. Finally, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime visited the Salesian Institute of Sunbury, Mother House of the Salesians in Australia, where they found, in 1927, their permanent home after moving to Melbourne from Western Australia. It was from this symbolic place that the Rector Major gave his encouragement to the young people to always follow their dreams with passion, for this is the road to happiness.

Viedma, Argentina - March 2023 – In Viedma, on Saturday, March 18 and Sunday, March 19, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major of the Salesians of Don Bosco, participated in the pilgrimage in honor of St. Artemide Zatti; its motto: "Like Br. Zatti, let us not leave to tomorrow the good we can do today." Beginning on the afternoon of Saturday 18, the Rector Major took part in numerous activities, including a conference and meeting with the Salesian Family, a Eucharistic Concelebration at Viedma Cathedral, a prayer vigil, and a youth party. Then, on Sunday 19, Don Bosco's Successor attended the pilgrimage proper, accompanying the urn containing Br. Zatti's relics through the streets of Viedma. This year the pilgrimage took on special significance, since it is the first edition to take place after Artemide Zatti's canonization.
