The number of refugees from Ukraine is growing day by day. According to the UN, 368,000 people have already left the country in search of safety. In this dramatic situation, the Salesians Fr Roman Sikon and Fr Andrej Król have been documenting - with numerous and significant photographs - the efforts of the Ukrainian people, including women, the elderly and children, to reach neighboring countries to escape the war.

Quito, Ecuador - February 2022 - From February 10 to 11, the Rector Major, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, made a visit to the Province of Ecuador (ECU). The Tenth Successor of Don Bosco made his closeness to the Salesian Family of Ecuador felt by taking part in numerous events, including a meeting with the Salesian Family, the Provincial Council and the Rectors, the youth of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM), and the Salesians and Laity of the province. During this last meeting, the Rector Major encouraged the participants, reminding them that: "As a Congregation we have no other way than that of the mission done together."

Yesterday, January 31, we commemorated the feast of Don Bosco. The Saint of Youth was honored by Salesian works all over the world. Always respecting the anti-contagion measures, the Salesians, together with many young people, families and faithful, gathered to celebrate our Founder, with creative initiatives and celebrations.
