(ANS - New Rochelle) - On the occasion of the International Day of Charity, celebrated yesterday, 5 September, 2021, the Salesian Mission Office of New Rochelle, "Salesian Missions", highlighted the social programs that represent a real change in the lives of many young people and their families. “Salesian Missions” has in fact joined this important anniversary, that is celebrated to commemorate the death anniversary of Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
(ANS - San Salvador) - The "Fundación Salvador del Mundo" (FUSALMO) is a non-profit Salesian organization, which promotes the development of skills and integral and innovative education through the involvement of children, adolescents, and young people in conditions of social vulnerability.
(ANS - New Rochelle) - Today, 19 August, the international day of Humanitarian Aid is celebrated, an event established by the United Nations to pay homage to those who face danger and adversity to help others. The date chosen coincides with the anniversary of the 2003 bombing of the United Nations headquarters in Baghdad, Iraq. This year, the Salesian Mission Office of New Rochelle, “Salesian Missions”, wanted to better explain the programs it carries out on climate and environment.
(ANS - Maputo) - At the end of July a new edition of the "Technical Volunteering" project active between Spain and Mozambique took place, a training project for Vocational Training teachers that before the pandemic took place every year in person and which this year, with travel restrictions due to Covid-19, it was done remotely, connecting Pamplona and Maputo.
