(ANS – Lahore) – During the past 20 years, the Salesian Mission in Pakistan has been accompanied by four Extraordinary Visitations: 2001, 2007, 2013 and 2019 and the 11 confreres of the Delegation with their Provincial, Fr Godofredo Atienza, have also received the follow-up letter of the Rector Major as a Christmas Gift. After 20 years of Don Bosco’s presence in this country it is possible to recognize the hand of God:
(ANS - Rome) - "SiamoUmani" is a project carried out by the "Siamo" Social Cooperative within the "Sacro Cuore" Youth Center in Rome, located next to Termini Station and the Basilica of the Sacred Heart founded by Don Bosco himself. It aims to encourage the job placement of young refugees and Italians and has recently been selected as an inclusion model at the "Global Refugee Forum" in Geneva.
(ANS – Manila) – “Bisperas sa Veritas” has now been on the air for fifteen years. It had its initial broadcast on the eve of the First Sunday of Advent (Year A) in November, 2004. Divine Providence has never been wanting. So also the spontaneous response of members of the Word Media Ministry, inspired by the dream of their dedicated and indefatigable spiritual director, Fr Salvatore Putzu, SDB.
(ANS - Lombriasco) - At the end of Expo Lombriasco AgriCultura 2019: "Restoring the land to young people, agriculture for life", held in October, the "Net4Grow" project was presented, a network between the Salesian Agricultural School of Lombriasco, the Plaza Argentina Association, the Salesian Agricultural Schools in the world, the Past Pupils of Don Bosco, businesses and professionals in the sector, which has the objective of preserving and developing agricultural vocational training and generating projects for shared local development.
