24/4/2013- Slovakia – Fascinated by Don Bosco; cyclists, prisoners and firemen welcome the relic (ANS – Žilina) – The relic of Don Bosco fascinates the faithful in Slovakia: joyful celebrations and moments of silent prayer alternate in every Salesian center, local Bishops and many diocesan priests come to celebrate the Eucharist and pray to Don Bosco and the Salesians dedicated many hours to confess the faithful.

24/4/2013- Germany – Every Child needs a Teacher! (ANS – Bonn) –The Salesian Mission Procure in Bonn is taking an active part in the Week for Global Action, from 22 to 28 April. This is a worldwide action promoted by the Global Campaign for Education (GCE). The GCE is a world confederation of non-governmental agencies and associations that work to secure the right to education for all.

23/4/2013- Spain – “We are Dis-Concerted” (ANS – Seville) – Des-Concertados – (literally Dis-Concerted) is the motto of a campaign started in 418 Catholic Schools of Andalusia to fight for the right of parents to choose the education that they consider best for their children. (The “concerto” was the accord or agreement between the government and the private schools, which the government now wants to terminate, leaving the Catholic schools “disconcerted”.) Among the first actions taken as part of the campaign are a minute’s silence, an armband indicating opposition to the proposal, and the collecting of signatures of citizens opposed to the government proposal.
