India - Over 1,000 masks produced for the poor

Gagillapur, India - March 22, 2020 - The "Don Bosco Center for Human Resources Development" in Gagillapur, belonging to the Salesian Province of Hyderabad (INH), as an immediate action to combat the spread of coronavirus infection has produced over 1,000 masks. The initiative takes place within the framework of the pilot emergency response project conducted by the Provincial Planning and Development Office, the "Bosco Seva Kendra". The masks were made by the Gagillapur Tailoring Unit and are distributed free of charge to the poor in the area and the state of Telugu, in particular where the Salesians are present. Also, the "Bosco Seva Kendra" has also created information posters to raise awareness on preventing the spread of the coronavirus.
