Papua New Guinea - DBTI students return to attend classes
Boroko, Papua New Guinea - May 2020 - Boroko's Don Bosco Technological Institute has reopened its doors and students and teachers can thus resume classes after the period of isolation due to Covid-19. On indications of the Minister of Education, Hon. Joseph Yopyyopy, all due hygienic-sanitary precautions must be taken. For children and teachers, this is a new normality, which includes rigorous checks at the entrance, a change in lesson times, temperature measurement and the obligation to frequently wash hands. In any case, the students who have returned to class are determined to make the most of the year ahead and to complete all the unfinished work in order to obtain their diploma at the end of the year.
