The "San Lucas" Province of Venezuela

The "San Lucas" Province of Venezuela has:
142 Salesians - 98 were born in Venezuela and others arrived on a mission from Italy, Spain, Poland, Syria.

55: the average age of the Salesians in the Province.

In the San Lucas Province there are also young SDBs in initial formation:
7 pre-novices,
4 novices,
16 post-novices,
12 theology students.

There are 22 communities, with various works that are managed together with the laity; some were entrusted to a group of the Salesian Family.

A peculiarity of the San Lucas Province is the missionary presence among the indigenous peoples of the Amazon State (Yanomami; Huottüja or Piaroas; Hiwi or Guajibos): there are 4 communities that carry out their pastoral work here.
