Vatican City, Vatican - July 2020 - Seven years after his visit to Lampedusa, Pope Francis celebrated a Mass on July 8 in the chapel of Casa Santa Marta. Given the health-related situation, only the staff of the Migrants and Refugees section of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Developmen took part in the celebration. In his homily, Pope Francis took up the Psalm of the day "Seek out the Lord and His strength, always seek his face." "The search for the face of God is a guarantee of the success of our journey in this world, which is an exodus towards the true Promised Land, the heavenly homeland," explained the Pope.
