Brazil - 28 young people participate in the online vocation meeting

24 August 2020

Campo Grande, Brazil - 14 August 2020 - 28 young people who are following the vocational accompaniment in the Salesian Province of Mato Grosso (BCG) took part in an online vocation meeting last Friday 14 August. The PAVOC team transmitted a moment of prayer from inside the chapel of the House of St. Joseph, which strengthened the spiritual roots of the vocational call. As Don Bosco said: "Vocation is a call from God for the young person to give himself to a life project, which has Jesus Christ as its main reference." The initiative was born from the need to maintain contact despite the current restrictions imposed by health authorities because of Covid-19. "With social distancing we cannot maintain closer contact and face-to-face meetings are obviously suspended and so we have proposed this meeting to young people online, without having to leave home," said Jaqueline Mendonça.
