12 October 2020

Mumbai, India - October 2020 - The Salesian house "Don Bosco Nerul", of Navi-Mumbai, has launched a new phase of support for the local population by focusing on the transition from food assistance to the needy to helping them so that they acquire useful work skills and thus maintain themselves. 17 women aged between 19 and 45 have signed up for online lessons, thanks to which they can also learn English. At the end of the year, they will be included in the "National Institute of Open Schooling" (NIOS) system. “Don Bosco Nerul” looks for ways to help poor families become self-sufficient by encouraging entrepreneurial activities and sharing the skills learned from other entrepreneurs or traders.
