Brazil - April 2021 - On 23 April the National webinar of the Brazil Salesian Network of Social Action (RSB-Social) was held on the Zoom platform; its theme: “Our identity and our commitments”. The event brought together more than 350 people from all over the country, including leaders and educators of Salesian social works, schools, and groups of the Salesian Family in Brazil. The webinar aimed to provide an overview of the “Papers” of Identity and Fundamental Commitments of RSB-Social, as well as generating reflections on the foundations of social activities and their links with the activities developed in the Salesian educative-pastoral communities. To this end, the participants were able to count on the presence of formators and authors who collaborated in the production of the Notebooks; they illustrated the contents, meanings and implications of the tools made available for the social activities of the network. After the event, a program of training appointments was proposed, again through virtual seminars, dedicated to each Notebook, to deepen studies and broaden reflections.
