07 July 2021

Lima, Peru - July 2021 - Over 200 collaborators from various works of the Salesian Province of Peru (PER) have started the third stage of the School of Salesianity, with moments of learning and reflection on the components, the meaning and the importance of the spirituality of St. John Bosco. The first meeting of this third stage, which took place on 2 July, began with a brief prayer and welcome from Fr Manuel Cayo, Superior of the PER Province, and Fr Martín Cipriano, Provincial Delegate for Youth Ministry. In this phase, the collaborators deal with various themes that help them to fully understand the knowledge and experience of Salesian spirituality as the foundation of the fruitfulness of its action and the relevance of its spiritual proposal. In the first lesson on Salesianity, the participants explored the theme "Don Bosco and the Salesian spirit", thanks to the intervention of Fr Juan Pablo Alcas, Director of the Salesian community in Rímac. The digital meetings will take place on a monthly basis and will continue until November.
