Brazil - Don Bosco Natal Educational Center receives 1.5 tons of food

Natal, Brazil - July 2021 - The Don Bosco Educational Center of Natal, through the deputy director Fr Eneas Andrade de Araújo and the social worker Janaína Félix, participated in the ceremony for the delivery of non-perishable food collected as part of the campaign of Brazilian army “Help is in our hands”. The goal of the initiative is to help low-income families who have seen their socio-economic situation worsen with the pandemic. The Commander of the 7th Motorized Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Carlos José Rocha Lima, presided over the ceremony for the delivery to various institutions in Natal of the food donated by the military serving in the garrison. The Don Bosco Educational Center has received a ton and a half of food that it will distribute to needy families assisted by the center in the Lagoa Azul neighborhood and surrounding areas.
